2020 RACK’d Campaigns

  • Day 1 – Christmas Bureau Donations

    On the first day of our Random Acts of Christmas Kindness we made a big old delivery to the Christmas Bureau. The Christmas Bureau is something we have donated our time and toys to every year in this campaign, it is such a blessing to our community.

  • Day 2 – “Home for Dinner” program at The Ronald McDonald House

    One of our favourite ways to volunteer is through the Home for Dinner program. This year, as they aren’t able to have volunteers into the house to cook dinner for their families, they are taking cash donations in order to purchase a meal from a local restaurant every evening.

    As part of the annual The Place To Mortgage RACK’D Campaign, we made a cash donation in the amount equivalent to what we would have spent on groceries.

  • Day 3 – Donations to Several Homeless Shelters

    Day 3 of our 24 days of Random Acts of Christmas Kindness. We made donations of new and used winter gear to several homeless shelters throughout BC and Alberta.

  • Day 4 – Sending Thanks

    Yesterday we wanted to send love ? to our behind the scenes team. Mortgages are not always easy and it takes many people to make everything come together!! Thank you for all of the hard work you all do!!

  • Day 5 – Candy Cane Love ❤️ 

    Spreading joy around our community?. Sometimes it is the smallest things that mean the most! If you found our candy cane today we hope it made you smile. ?

  • Day 6 – Kindness for our teachers

    Day 6 of our 24 days of Random Acts of Christmas Kindness was all about celebrating the teachers!! ? We finalized packaging up some gifts to head out to the local schools. Also Friday @mortgagesshannongervais delivered lunch to the staff at St. Basil School ?, thank you to Dennon McSwain of Tim Hortons for being an awesome partner in crime for the random act of kindness!

  • Day 7 – Dollar Store fun

  • Day 8 – Frontline Worker Love

    Day 8 – We delivered gifts of appreciation to the Police ?‍♀️ Station, the Innisfail Health Centre ?‍⚕️, Doctors ? Office, Continuing Care homes ??.

  • Day 9 – Critter Care Wildlife Society 

    Donations were made in support of the Critter Care Wildlife Society!!

  • Day 11 RACK’D – Sending Senior Love ❤️

    On day 11 of our The Place To Mortgage Rack’d campaign we wanted to show seniors a little love!! Chelsea’s niece prepared 80 gift boxes for seniors at the Sunshine Lodge in Drumheller. She wanted to make sure each resident got a box, each box contains a homemade scarf that she knit, hand lotion, sanitizer, and some chocolate! ❤

    Seniors gifts at London Drugs:). Erin & Amber both made up $100 gift baskets and filled them up with slippers, blankets, treats, magazine’s, etc…

    Cheri’s children picked a senior from the giving tree and bought everything off the list at London Drugs.
    Jacquelyn is buying gifts for “Sponsor a Senior”, names are pulled from the tree at Jackson’s Pharmacy or Olympik Way in Innisfail.

  • Day 12 – Mamas for Mamas
    Day 12 of our 24 days of Christmas Kindness was a cash & supply donation to this amazing organization!! Thankyou so much to Chelsea Burnett for helping organize Day 12! ?

  • Day 13 – Christmas Lights Extravaganza

    For the 13th day of Random Acts of Christmas Kindness we are excited to bring joy to our local community with the release of our Christmas Light Extravaganza map. ? If you would like to join in on a tour we will be meeting at The Place to Mortgage office tonight at 6:00 for a Christmas light convoy!! ?
